The estimates are all pretty shaky, but they reckon the boost to the economy from the wedding could be $1bn. Makes the cost of policing etc pretty small beer. Plus which much of the cost of the security operation is due to the minority of people who are determined to make a big protest about it because of (amongst other things) , err, the cost of security...
I will be working, but enjoy the fact that the non-vocal majority seem to be enjoying a rare moment of Britain being in the international spotlight for positive rather than negative reasons. And we do give good pageantry!

Battle of Britain Memorial Flight did a brilliant job ! the two GR4s and Typhoons were a bit tame but when most are deployed I guess they did alright. I enjoyed the Wedding, and for the anti Royals, thank your lucky stars you have the right to slag em off, go try it in Syria and see how far you get

Yes, although I thought it a bit off that David's wife didn't wear a hat.
The po faced, not watching that ' mob missed Kates little sister looking the very slinky bridesmaid... I imagine there will be a team of security trying to keep Harry off that tonight...
