I remember back in the seventies when i threw my apprentice electrician job away because i had a new kawasaki kh250 and wanted to ride it my ma saying to me "you`ll regret this" She was right. Sorry ma
Now i`ve got to work for someone with the same work philosophy as the Victorian mill owner`s had
I had a KH250 Triple, great in a straight line would keep up with my Mates X7 but would not go round corners, fell off twice. As for work I will be doing a 12 night shift at double time plus 2.64 % good old Wills !

I'll be on double time Monday, because "that's a bank holiday". Tight arased company. I asked what will happen Christmas day, beacuse according to them it's not a Bank Holiday, it's a Sunday, they haven't got back to me yet

Sounds like a perfect day to me.
Need to apply for my open licence so I can shoot in the back garden.

I always find the route back from the pub is twice as far as the way there 'cos of the zig-zag pattern of my walking!

                  Hope you've got a long garden .

I'm working tonight so thankfully I'll be sleeping while all that wedding stuff is on the telly.

I shall be continuing to build my patio with rendered wall to the back & sides. It's ###### hard work I gotta say! I'll be glad to go back to work next week to have a rest!

Not got a clue what time it's on anyway. Thankfully managed to avoid all the hype so far..
It's only kinky the first time...

Might try and catch the fly by the RAF are doing. They have a number of fighter jets, a few WW2 planes and a Lancaster bomber, apparently. May go somewhere hilly and watch from a distance

Too true! Mind you the H1 and H2 were just as much fun, along with the Suzuki 'Hustler' 250 - I came off one of these!. Fast bikes for the day, but I just noticed the Hustler chucked out a massive 32 hp - about 150 less than my Hayabusa engine!!!
Anyway, I won't be watching the wedding, but good luck to 'em both

                          Cheers, Nick

I had a KH that handled! wheels/forks/swing arm and unitrak from a GPZ305 all DIYed on to it.. smoothed out all the ports, set of Microns and a Lime green version of the Marlboro paint.. It was not too bad apart from the noise and the fuel consumption.. It started off life as an S1 as well..
                            it's in me shed, mate.

I'm not bothered about the wedding really.
I think of it like the FA Cup Final..
I hope they have a good time, I might watch the highlights, I know it's going to cost a crapload of cash to police that could have been spent elsewhere because of a minority of twunts who like causing trouble, and the newpapers are going to be full of it for weeks.

But, I don't feel the need to join some sort of anti-event to protest against it.
I'll just be doing my own thing and enjoying the sunshine.
I'm not/wasn't "ensighting " some sort of "anti event" it was just a pi$$ take!
i'm not exactly anti royalist but i do get annoyed with regards to the many "other" minor royals who live practially rent free in "grace and favor" mansions and contribute sod all to the economy or the country, (that goes for many politictions as well), plus the over kill by the media (as usual)
as for costs! i'd like to see the figures, the cops and soldiers would be getting paid anyway regardless of the wedding but i bet theres a $hitload of "overtime" for this event, and who pays for all the forign "dignitarys" to come over and stay in hotels and eat/drink etc?
anyway we all have to tighten our belts in this time of extream hardship but as useual it's the ordinary guy that has to tighten it more,
still i do wish them well, they seem a nice enough couple and mayby they will stay married unlike fergie and diana,
(got my royal wedding sick bag ready)

Please dont be talking about guns and royals in the same thread! we could find ourselves "wisked" off by MI6 for a spot of waterboarding!
