Fog Lamp - Flush fit to bumper - Bodgetastic!

Makes it easier for reaching the roof for a start, especially for the roof rack when I finally get around to sorting the right bolts to fit it on. I've tried a few different places but haven't had any joy yet.

The bolts have a square head so that they fit into a channel on the underside of the roof rack (a bit like the bolts that you use for a greenhouse). Anyone any ideas?



The ladder is also useful on the rare occasions I actually bother to wash the truck too.

They manage to take my rather portly frame without any metallic creaks or complaints! At a shade over 20 stone thats no mean feat!

Stuck my fog on the rear tyre hanger....... you can just see it hanging to the left of the tyre......



Nice towbar...... now where have i seen one like that...... oh yeah on my truck......

I threaded 2 M8 bolts into the sides of the plate to stop the hanger with the towball on shifting side to side.... ground the heads of the M8 bolts to get nice fit.......

That's what I did with mine Paul. Used the same technique to hang a 130w reversing light, and also added a high level brake light....Cheers....Mick.

I like the high level brake light. Would be especially ironic in a suitably highly lifted truck!

Not yet. I forgot all about them what with one thing or another that was going on today. I'll write myself a reminder somewhere so I don't forget again!

Ooooo.... Ooooooo.... I must have one of those ladders. It's a need not a want. Yeah yeah they look uber cool and all that jazz, but since the roof tent went on it would be well handy plus I could hang other stuff off it.

Hmmmm maybe an other type could even be modded to fit... Getting excited over a ladder.. I really must get out more.

Like I said, bodgetastic!

All this stuff is a steep learning curve for me - never worked on a car before (bikes have much less cosmetic stuff to worry about!) and I only paid £675 for it in the first place so I'm not losing any value (not that I plan to sell it at any point in the next few years anyway).
