Just ordered them online and I'll report back on how good they are when they turn up.
In terms of tidying up the rather messy looking fog lamp installation I have found a slightly bigger unit and I'll file back the uneven edges of the current hole to fit the new lamp unit.
Functionality is one thing (I'm sure we all prefer to know that we're staying on the right side of the law!) but I don't fancy living with a permanent bodge if I can possibly tidy it up a wee bit.

They seem to be about £20 but look good when done - certainly better than my bodge does!
And yes, I'll be there on Saturday all being well.

This is what I picked up a few years ago (there must be a UK supplier by now).
Involved one hole for the wires, ans two bolt holes. I think it was the easiest job I've done.Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

No problems Al. The bumper is flat enough, and the plastic bezel of the lights soft enough to conform to the very slight curve. The angle of the light fitting in the bezel can be changed slightly too.Cutting steps in the roof of the world
