Another Pain In The Ar*e From Apple!

Had mine & the iPhone4 since release last yr. Always been in the 'Apple = meh' camp until then, but I'm afraid to say I'm a fanboy now. Other than flash, which you can workaround, it all just works..for me anyways.

The only failing IMO is the need to sync with iTunes, it's pretty much the only thing the PC gets fired up for now

I've had the iphone since it was first released as a 2g, upgrading every release day to now having an iphone 4, the same with ipad, again upgrading on 25th march. They do just work somehow.
Syncing with itunes will be a thing of the past VERY soon, as an itunes cloud based service is in final test phase at the mo. Once its released and all minor problems ironed out (typical with apple unfortunately) my pc will be a thing of the past.

I never have understood the sniping at Apple, a very successful company who make a well engineered slick product.

Its personal choice if you don't like what they do - avoid them
