anybody selling EGR blanking plates?

That wouldnt have worked for long I'd have thought!

Draw the templates, ie round the gaskets, write the measurements on, take a pic, post it up an I'll do you a pair.

I'm doing a set for the V8 shortly, won't take half hour to do another pair. Will be 5mm plate.

I've managed to get one of my apprentices to make me a couple from some 8mm gauge plate - all good practice for him filing flat and square!!

looking at the EGR and associated gubbins - the only connections to it, apart from the vac hose, is the solenoid valve which controls it. I can remove these completely along with EGR and steel pipe leaving lots of free space to get the fuel lines back in and the back bottom manifold bolt without too much swearing!!

Good plan, I pulled everything off mine too. Ensure you cap/remove all the vac pipes..there's one that runs down under the inlet towards the front of the engine IIRC
