We might lose the right hand side for a while mate, I have been told a 3mile belt is being installed by Tarmac. Probably sometime in 2012.

Never been to Avalanche mate, but some who have and been to Drum tell me, avalanche is the size and about as difficult as the area we use as a campsite at Drumclog.

Drum is considered by many up and down the UK and Ireland as one of the best sites in the UK. It may also be gone to Quarrying in the next 3yrs, so if you want to experiance it sooner might be best.

Avalanche is nowhere near the size of drumclog but its good for the banter & to meet fellow members + its a nice track for beginers & normal road surfs.

If it was up to me i'd stay for a week but im pretty sure i'll get a weekend if i keep the other half sweet.

As with any offroad driving great care should be taken and the common sense rules of offroading should be applied. Drumclog has some very risky bits and some really easy bits, don't confuse them!

Look after the place, keep the fires on the already burn't grass and take yer rubbish home.

I have given myself a few good scares and grinned like a cheshire cat in equal measure at Drumclog in very varied conditions.

If it's wet the true test id getting through Death Valley without help.
