Im the same, i don't mind it getting muddy its the dents & scratches that worry me, oh & the cold.

Can i follow on a little dirt track that runs along side the "nutters" route.
If its not broke don't fix it.

That's the beauty of the site, loads of acres for gentle off roading and plenty of places to park up and watch us clowns. You can always park up at lunch time and jump in passenger seat for the afternoon. See what off road can be like, veiwing the sky through the drain plugs in the floor.

I've only been twice and to be honest I got more scratches from the tarpaulin than the driving. But if you stay out of the woods, you'll be fine.

That's what I mean Andy about just following tracks.

We sometimes have that bend in the river tapped off, but then loas of the guys love to drive it and many get through, all be it a little wet.

Aye, the river (any river) can catch folk out. But the inside of a bend is never the right place to be?

Yeah, I've seen some rivers that go from the bank to 6ft deep, instantly.

Never been to Avalanche mate, but some who have and been to Drum tell me, avalanche is the size and about as difficult as the area we use as a campsite at Drumclog.

Drum is considered by many up and down the UK and Ireland as one of the best sites in the UK. It may also be gone to Quarrying in the next 3yrs, so if you want to experiance it sooner might be best.
