I got a mini helo for christmas. One of those with gyros and a metal frame. It's flippin awesome! Dead stable and controllable!

A 'game' I wouldn't mind is a decent Apache sim. Not one of those simple shoot 'em ups, but one which takes a certain amount of skill to fly, and gets really 'busy' when you go into combat with it. I expect it, and the bits to control it would be pricey!

Why don't you build an Apache?
A decent lipo powered heli frame would be about 350, then just skin it with an Apache body.
Get a decent sim and learn how to fly and you're away.

Nice. Its even got the correct 'tail down' sit of the real one in the air. I dont think I'd like to risk such a nice model though. After 20-odd years of fixed wing flying, habits are hard to break - helos are less so
