They should be dispatched this afternoon.....hopefully
Pneus-Online there English is very good, better than my French.

There not cheap but do actually have there tires in stock unlike the other online sites which have now refunded me my money as they did not have my tires in stock!
Bit like saying ill sell you a new Bentley for £5 and taking the money and then saying actually we don't have a Bentley would you like a Lada instead!
Sorry to rant but I have wasted the best part of my weekend and Monday morning sorting it out.
Oh well
I just hope they arrive sooner rather than later as I'm having to use my Surf to commute and its offensively thirsty at over 500 miles a week.If it can be broken it can be fixed

Thats unusual it's normally 12 to 2Originally posted by mckirdy-services View PostBut there on lunch from 11am to 1pm!

I've been out here nearly 5 years now and this French obsession with lunch still drives me nuts!! It's always a laugh when we're on the scaffold with the nail gun or an angle grider going and the neighbours are trying to enjoy their lunch!
By the way I buy my tyres from england because they are nearly always cheaper, sometimes order from http://www.pneusenligne.net/ which is Black Circles in the UK

The equipment sides not so bad...because going to war without the proper kit...well whats new! Going to war without the french... it's a bit like going to war without your accordion.Originally posted by Bogus View PostIts going to get harder though, if we wanted to invade them, we,d first have to ask them for all of the military equipment that we currently share with them, back.

Had a look on there site, they don't list Vredestein which is what I was after, the prices seem comparable to other sites.Originally posted by s car go View PostThats unusual it's normally 12 to 2

I think you've hit the nail on the head there, but times are changing.Even in the short time we've been here more stores are starting to open lunch times, more people eating on the hoof and the emergence of the fast food chains has begun.France is a great country, but the French take the space and beauty for granted! c'est la vie!!Originally posted by mckirdy-services View PostI like France and feel a mixture of respect and annoyance at there stubbornness to there ways

I agree but they're still a bunch of cheese eating surrender monkeys!Originally posted by mckirdy-services View Postbut thats France, its what makes it french. Would be a shame to see it change even if it makes life easier, I like the french high value on quality of life rather than speed. but as you say thats life“Do or do not... there is no try.”
