The French; love them or hate them, you've got to hate them.

I actually quite like them. I spend a couple of weeks over there every year and find them generally very kind and pleasant people. Yes, the Police are racist fools, but......plus ca change.

I think their attitude to the English, certainly in the mountain resorts, has improved a lot over the last few years since the new money Russians have turned up.

Interesting thread. I do'nt share the English anti French sentiment. Every nation has good and bad. Generally I've got a lot of respect for them. They dont stand being pushed around....... They storm the Bastille, and become a republic.- We go down the pub and have a grumble about things..... As for the other issue; Well, I love Scotland, and dare'nt say too much about the Scots, because the wife's half Scots, therefore my son and daughter are quarter Scots. Ffs, even my two dogs came from Castle Douglas!.....Somebody call the UN. Help!, Ive been invaded!....Cheers....Mick.

Im having trouble with this one, an Angela?? in Glasgow?? Sounds a bit posh for Glasgow. Are you sure it wasnt Senga and you misunderstood due to your Englishness.

Well the French have delivered, 4 new Vredestein, Snowtrac3 tyres. They look good and driving feels grand, just need some snow now to test them out. Drove the car back round to the garage to get it re-MOT tested and all is good :-)

Pneus Online was the company I used and aside from the price I can recomend them.
