New update
Picked up some new rims and tyres last night from rob (wishbone)
had a couple of hundred mile round trip and seeing the post here the other day 'thrashing it' i decided to not worry about fuel costs and just get up there and back as quick as possible, So got my foot down and sat in the outside lane of the motorways as much as possible, must say, cruising around 130kph was quite easy, didnt really want to go much over it unless heading downhill but sat there nicely, watched the fuel gauge go down, but sod it..
Anyway. the run went well, loaded up with the new wheels n tyres I kept the same idea for the reurn journey - truck feels great now, must have blown out a few cobwebs..
Day off work today (i work saturdays instead) so threw on the rims this AM then took them for a bath!!!
Looks a lot better for them...
Good grip and drives nicer too - happy all round!!
