I'll leave you to hammer out the details of how that works...
I should probably clarify that when I said "Tony and Linda's truck", I meant the truck of Tony and Linda. Not Linda's truck and Tony.
Since we are on a clarity-of-post drive round here at the moment 'n'all.

so i've booked in to get cambelt and basic service sorted this week, which cant come soon enough..

drove home brilliant after purchase, almost faultless..

following day started with ease in the cold morning, and drove to work, again brilliantly - no issues at all..

went to leave work friday night and she spluttered, shuddered under acceleration then suddenly cleared and ran fine - about 5 miles intothe journey - underpowered and spluttery again..

this the cleared and drove ok, small splutter just before getting home..

only difference, the journey home was in the wet.. otherwise nothing different.

yesterday, had to bring the other car home from work, so didnt try it..

today, as cambelt change is imminent i thought id' get started on removing the birdpoo stains - erm sorry - sticker off the side, so got stuck in, fired up fine this morning, spun round the estate and all was fine - got started on removing the stickers, then a visitor opped round and got sod all else done...

just been out to re-park on the drive properly fired up fine, but spluttered soon as moved..

so held through rev range - fine on ticker, fine over 3k, between 2-3k starts spluttering a little

i'm hoping its nothing major and a little service/doing belts woudl sort it out

        any ideas tho???

          Fuel filter?

See if there's any water in it. Given the price, just change it.

well stuck about 1500kms on the old girl and all seems to be going well..

I'm defo going to be in the market for an exhaust (anyone got any good tips for finding one at a good price - or should i go to longlife and get something made up??)

Also going to be needing some tyres too..

So far, been tinkering with the rear windo and got it to work, but will try fittinga new motor today and see if that improoves things..

so far, been exploring a little locally to me and fitted a new bull bar..
and to start on the stickers.. removing them!!

some have come off ok, but others are stuck fast as the top layer of vinyl is knackered - so its a long slow proces..

anyway, Mrs Lawsy and I had our first outing last weekend, a trip to the new forest..

looking better without the stickers, but still need to finish them all off

how to make it look small... lol... stand fat me in front...

then decided to change the front end a little

bull bars were sourced and fitted..

                naked...

new bars - sourced from a uk spec four-runner - spots not wired up yet, but looks so much better

then today, first day off and wanted to have another drive around, there are a few byways near where I live, mrs lawsy got a little scare on one of them as it was muddy n slippy with a big drop, but we managed it ok - then found a big ford and had fun..

Well just sorted the rear motor, quite an easy, yet fiddly job and i now have a working rear window which is excellent news

Great looking truck, watch your self in water if you haven't modded the air intake though, it's right behind the nearside head lamp.

I just did this simple mod so far, snorkel will be next though.

I've got a Longlife exhaust on mine. Good enough exhaust, just the workmanship could of been better. Expect to pay £300-£400. Having said that I don't expect to replace it for a while. A better exhaust system would be 'Powerflow', better fitters as they 've had to tighten my system & fit in a flange that was missing.

i guess it depends on the longlife, the one in oxford on the A34 has a great reputation, known loads of people had their cars done, still budget will be the decider...

Get the bullbar back off, the 'naked' look is in at the moment.

                              Nice truck btw.
