  • Main Differences Between 3rd Gen SSRX And SSRG

Before I face a torrent of abuse, yes I have used the search engine.

I've read that the specs could be tailored to the original buyer in Japan etc.

All I want to know is main differences:

Outside - rear spoiler with the drop down mirror on the SSRG compared to standard or no spoiler on the SSRX, is that it?

Inside - the SSRG has the wood effect dash etc?

These are the only two major differences that I can see, are there any others?

Thanks John, I take it the sat nav is the original Japanese one that would be useless over here?

I only asked because although I have a fancy for an SSRG there are some nice SSRX's about.

Unfortunately the satnavs are the usual jap stuff... funny but i always thought that Apache with his electronic wizardry would come up with a plug thingy and all of a sudden the system would spring into life in...err english ? and we could have maps of guernsey with yorkshire post codes ok I'll shut up.........

sat navs are not standard on g's,however i think the roof mounted compass, barometer and height meter are. Also the adjustable shockers and the power switch (equivilent to sport in cars).

My 1997 SSRX has a wood effect dash and 'power' switch but not the other stuff.
Specs seem to be very fluid - probably depended on the original buyers preference.

There all spec'd up to the buyers choice, a top spec ssrx could have more goodies than a ssrg, my ssrx has spare wheel underneath, but has wood pack, power sunroof, borometer and altitude controlls.
