3ltre front down exhaust question. rattles

my front section exhaust rattles like a pig....! it dosent blow just rattles a bit.
was thinking could it be possible to take it off and take off the heat plates and replace then with exhaust wrap to keep the heat down.

anyone done this

There is a bracket which bolts the exhaust to the gearbox which sometimes works loose.Also check the turbo heat shields aswell as they will sometimes rattle as with the metal plate in the wheel arch

Mine rattled and it was the bracket just as stormforce said.
Just loosened it, gave it a nudge and tightened it up again.
No more rattle.
Suppose the constant expantion and retraction of the two
cause wear and then over time the rattle.

Me too, a few adjustments and tightening of bolts and I was sorted!
