wanting replacement lift but can find any

hi all,
im looking to replace my 3'' rear lift and 2'' front lift. i know i can use landcruser springs but the place i got the old ones from has gone bust. also i was going to get some procomps but cant find any or sites like roughtrax dont sell them any more, any ideas where and what kit to put on. shes runnung ranchos at the moment but cant find them either.

As for lc springs, I got mine from milner off road (use Google search). About 55 quid for the two.

The springs I bought for my Surf:
"SUSPENSION COIL SPRING REAR (PAIR) - 003784"

Although I cant find them on the site anymore. They were £55 plus postage and VAT.

So the HDJ80 ones with part number 003784. If you get the Surfenstein cups as well then they sit propperly in the mounts. Without the adapter cups the top of the spring is too big and will move about. I have the adapter cups and they sit just like normal springs do.

Statements like this should be followed by "in my opinion" as there will be many on here who would disagree totally with that statement, you are giving new members an unbalanced veiw.

Mine have been fitted for six years now and haven't dislodged. (Standard 'Cruiser springs though, you still get the lift but your spine will last longer!)

The locators are a nicer engineering solution. Without them, they just kind of 'almost' sit on the rubber locators properly, but not quite. No-one can deny that. LC springs are larger in diameter.

It will work OK without them, but its 'better' with them. Just depends if you want to stump up over £100 for something that just makes the job 'proper' rather than half-assed

Yep, my 3.0 has the spacers and they are the better/correct (but not essential) solution. It does look neater too.

My point is that you have a definite issue there..... unless you think that a truck sitting 40mm lower on one side than the other is a 'non issue'. Did you use the same set of springs on the 3.0 ?
