To be fair though I had made a lot of recycling form glass bottles last night and was trying to be a bit clever and funny at the same time, but ended up writing a load of drivel........
Good to see it livened up the debate though!

I'd never heard the original floyd version til after the sisters version charted, now i have, i have to agree the original is awful (read not to my taste)
Got 5 different mixes of the sisters version on my mp3 player tho'

Im lost in what's a joke and what isn't, but the Scissor Sisters' version of Comfortably Numb is the greatest act of musical rape ever to have afflicted mankind.

Conversely, The Doors suck massively.

Both of these are facts, and not open to debate.

The door don't suck massively, but they do suck. The scissor sisters...enjoyed by gimps and losers worldwide. Music didn't evolve from some deep south 4:4 something or other, try Bach, mendohlson et al. They just copied what happened before with the jesters and their lyres. git.
