No chassis plate is very, very dodgy! I wouldn't touch it - unless it was really cheap kidding

Maybe it fell off. My old 2.4's VIN Plate fell off. And maybe the guy did think he had what he said he had.

I suspect the guy probably is genuine, he took the time to answer all our emails. He's bought a truck, used it for a while and now is going to have a problem selling it because it's not what he thought it is.

I know i will probably be wrong but if the guy had the log book when he had the truck and had the truck insured then he must of known what truck he has got.
I just got a feeling there is more wrong with the truck then he is saying and that he is trying to pass it on asap.
If He had already had buyers for it and it was relisted then surely he knew that the truck wasn't what it was then

The 4x4 lights and gear works fine, however, when engaged, it seems to be jammed. SO I TRIED IT once and never again. NOT SURE wat the problem is...
i'm going by what my mechanic told me about the engine. However it may have had a 3.0 put in, but the log book shows 2.4...

he addmits he's worryed now

Actually I'm feeling a bit sorry for the bloke. He's ended the sale and there were some pretty harsh comments posted on his listing. If he were a real villan he'd have told some of us to **** off and mind our own business.

TBH I feel as if he was ganged up on. Yes, I may be wrong, but like I normally say it's just my opinion.

at the end of the day as soon as he realised the advert was completely wrong, if he was completely innocent he would have ended the auction and relisted it with correct information, Not still let it run to the end with just a bit added ,
and no matter how incompetent a mechanic is, if the engine has been completely stripped down and rebuilt then theres no way you can mistake a 4 cylinder inline engine for a v6
