but hey it may have 3.0 litre on the log book as vin plate seems to be missing so he could have had his leg lifted but his mechanic that did the work on it and you can ask for his phone no so why hasent the mechanic that rebuilt said it's a 2.4 then man is a total ######

Maybe I've only had a Surf for less than a year, but I'm 100% sure that is a LN130 2.4 engine under that bonnet, I've helped Mudskipper with his 3ltr and done basic servicing on my truck, that knocking sounds ominous too.
