if i did have one i dont think i would want to take there honey well only what i could use so not much
most things iam planting are for me and the birds
i like to share with the birds i have a soft spot for wildlife
i prefur wildlife to people most the time
well i must like things wild you lot aint met the wife yet

Hi ya, I like to potter in the garden.

So far I have two cherry trees, minature pear tree, peach tree, fig tree, olive tree, two banana palms (no banana's of course though!), dwarf french beans in hanging baskets, tomatoes in hanging baskets, peas, mange tout, sweetcorn, strawberries, raspberries, wild blackberries (rampant!), passion fruit, chives, corriander, choc mint, banana mint, indian mint, two types of oregano, chives, variety of lettuces, basil & new potatoes.

Keeps me busy

Have a problem with the slugs & snails a lot so gonna invest in some nemaslug ready for next year & have the little buggers!

I have lots of flowers too.

you cook too with a garden like that whats with the mints you make cocktails?

ya olive tree its leaves are a very stronge antibiotic
they help ya antibodys fight harder dry em out and take 0.5 of a grame in rice paper every day cost 12 quid for 4 weeks dose at heath shops

Aparently Slugs and snails don't like copper, so if you use copper wire on/around your plants it will deter them - I don't know if it works though

join 2 copper wire to a 12v battery they dont like that too
turn it off in the day let the birds clean up

dig holes put pots of beer in them slugs will drown them selfs
they dont like sharp sand too but love beer? are slugs scottish?

i knew someone that did that
snake eyed don singer a lovely man he just got feked off one day when his butcher bike with missing
so with out saying anything to any one don put 2 wires to his shed locks
he was awoke that night by the police
he went out side and there on his lawn was a young guy with the crow bar still in his hands out cold
don got done for that
but that silly old bugga did it again
he put 2 copper plates togeather with a rubber stops around the edges
under his shed window

a few days later he went out to cut the lawn he opened his shed and a young guy (not the same one )was sat in the shed with his trainers melted to his feet
don kicked him out but his parents call the police and don get done for that too

There was a story in the paper a while ago about a guy who put an electric fence coil on his car.

Aparently a traffic warden heard it ticking, thought he'd look underneath it in case it was a bomb, and put his hand on the wing to lean down........

The guy got done for that too

I forgot to mention my two blueberry bushes too!

The mints are for salads & or ice cream.

Tried the beer traps for the slugs. I think they invited their mates over for a party! Thousands of the little darlings, and it seemed like a waste of good beer at that rate! The nemaslug stuff's organic, you just water it on & it lasts for about 6mnths.

I do like to cook too. I used to do it for a living. This week i've made up a batch of soup, toad in the hole, chilli & tonight/tomorrow i'm gonna be making up a big pot of chicken curry that's the freezer filled up for a couple of weeks then.

many currys are in the freezer with bargees and stuff i whip em up coz my other half cant cook for toffee
iam limeted to what i cook coz she dont like much too
all the rest i eat is fresh or toaste
