It looks like a socket with 4 lugs on it mark. I do believe it's also sized at 78mm...actually it's sized at something like 3 and a bit inches...damm Yankee imperialism.

To brian and alan... Triedthe 3" tube...the lugs I cut into it just bent, as the fcuker is done ip so tight. Only a proper tool will shift it.
