No there's not...failing that, anyone got the rear bearing locknut removal tool, no 205-488...you CANT get the rear hub off without it...and I need the hub off to fit the new backpkates...which I haven't got.Originally posted by surfenstein View Postyea theres loads at the ford parts centre in daventry.

Sadly not mate. The other excursion was easy. Just a big nut, and I used a box spanner. This one is the biggest available( the v 10 ) with a chuffin great Dana axle. It's COMPLETELY different to an explored or f250...even the f350, and that's a big mutha. It needs to locate the four lugs into the appropriate holes, and at the same tine press the sprung loaded under cap away. The only way to do it, is with the relevant ford service tool. ...AND....the calipers ( there are four...yes four) on each wheel are all 3 piston variants. These calipers are absolute gits to get off. They need to cone off as the parking brakeshoes are interior to the drum...it's a combined disc/ drum affair. Absolutely terrible design...but it's what it is and it's mot time shortly...Non intercooled nothing.
