I'm on about a 2gen 3.0l not the 2.4 though and I wouldn't be relying on Toyota's temp guage either as according to that mine NEVER!!!! got hot, in fact the needle stayed at normal while the head popped between 3 sets of valves. H

Well if mine does go bang i think it will be time to get an LC.
