YEAH! Finally got my 3rd gen today

Hi folks, FINALLY got my 3rd gen P reg truck today. Drove from Carlisle to Worcester without a hitch, though I'll need to adjust the seat a bit as my back is not too happy. Mind you I did 4 hours on the train up this morning so I suppose its just to be expected.

Need a few things sorted of course.

One missing rear wind deflector... DOH!
central locking key broken (got run over apparently)
Ariel a bit sticky
Needs the radio replaced
needs new tyres (well, 2 are quite good, but spare and otehr two are not, so a new set of 70/30 khumos I reckon.....
alloys need a re-furb
theres one small dent and a one dent with a scratch about 4 inches long
air con isnt cold - best case... refill, worst case - its got an 'ole in it..
the load bay carpet is not good, but i wanted a load liner anyway as im a messy chap.

guess I best update my CP description too.....


oh... and it NEEDS A LIFT! yeah! uprated springs to go please, Mr Roughtrax.

oh, and it clocks up in miles too..... must have been converted at some stage, so 106,000 shown on the clock is part mailes, part kilometers \I assume.

what do they usually come into the UK at? 60000km? so 40,000 is actual miles and 60k=40k miles give or take - so about 80k miles total.

engine bay is clean and no oil leaks visible.

Its fine round here Rich. Just park at the bottom of the road where it widens - only 100 yards away.
