  • This guy is just great

    He's done it again..
    > He sure isn't backing down on his hard line stance and one has to appreciate
his belief in the rights of his native countrymen.
    >
    > A breath of fresh air to see someone lead.
    > I wish some leaders would step up in Canada & USA .
    >
    >
    >
    > Australian Prime Minister does it again!!
    >
    > This man should be appointed King of the World.. Truer words have never been
    spoken.
    >
    > It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the
world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing
to take a stand on his and Australia 's beliefs.

    >
    > Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday,
March 17th to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a
bid to head off potential terror attacks..
    >

    > Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he
supported spy agencies monitoring the nation's mosques. Quote:
    >
    > 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It.
    > I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have
experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. '
    >
    > 'This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and
victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom'
    >
    > 'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,
Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our
    society . Learn the language!'
    >
    > 'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing,
political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian
principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented. It is certainly
appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then
I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God
    is part of our culture.'
    >
    > 'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that
you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.'
    >
    > 'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you
every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining,
and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of
Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian
    freedom, 'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'
    >
    > 'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you to come here. You
asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.'
    >
    > Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves in Canada & USA , (and The UK)
WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.

It's not actually true, and Kevin Rudd's actually quite a normal guy. This used to be attributed to the previous Prime Minister, John Howard, who was the kind of dick who'd come out with something like this, but didn't.

But it wasn't said, it's just a chain email (at a guess).

Repeat a lie often enough and people will believe it to be true.

One things for sure, if either one of those clowns wanting our votes had the balls to say that on live TV, they would need a bigger ballot box!

I dont care who wrote it , said it , i just think the person who penned it initially has a true account of the views of many people.
I respect the laws and beliefs in other countries when i go on holiday or for work purposes so why should they not respect the same when they go to other countries.

My tuppence is that I live in an area with a very high orthodox Jewish population, who live by Jewish law, and it makes not the slightest bit of difference to my life.

I've known a lot of Atheists, Agnostics, Catholics, Christians, Jews, Sikhs and Hindus in my lifetime and never had a problem at all. Though they were all just quietly enjoying their lives and not trying to turn England into a Muslim state....

But that is how it should be , they can still practice their beliefs and religious laws as long as it does not break the law of the land that they live in ,i do the odd bit of work for a young muslim guy who has his own buisness and i enjoy working for this guy. He abides by our laws but still practices his own faith and does not try and change my beliefs or ram his religion down my throat. He condems violence of some of his so called own and respects the beliefs of others and abides by the British laws. I know the majority are mostly law abiding folk but the ones who want us to change in order to come into line with their religion or face the concequences are the ones i think this article was written for.

Can't imagine many jews, catholics, etc, trying to create a muslim state anywhere!

Come to think of it, I've never seen any significant muslims trying to do the same either. Sure, you get the odd random nutter trying to convert a country to one thing or another (Oswald Mosely, George Monbiot, Jonathon Porrit, Tipper Gore, scientologists, Nick Griffin, Michael Foot, Bruce Kent, plenty of useful idiots over the years) and whilst some of them are dangerous the paranoia around islamic fundamentalism in the UK really does wind me up. People will get used to it in time and once integrated into everyday UK life like many other religions and philosophies they will go as unnoticed as the rest.

The problem (in my opinion at least) is the obsession with identifying different "communities" whether it be the gay community, black community, Worcester woman, Mondeo man or whatever rather than just living with the fact that people are individuals and we ALL make up the community as a whole!
