thats what i loved best about a motorbike, £2000 motorbike wasteing nearly any other vehicle on the road. 70 mph and being able to drop down from sixth gear to second, crack open the throttle and goooooooooooo
144. Being overtaken. If a driver is trying to overtake you, maintain a steady course and speed, slowing down if necessary to let the vehicle pass. Never obstruct drivers who wish to pass. Speeding up or driving unpredictably while someone is overtaking you is dangerous. Drop back to maintain a two-second gap if someone overtakes and pulls into the gap in front of you.

I had a renalt 19 turbo derv and that went like stink, untill the timming belt let go. I remember all the corsa-chav-tastic ###'s it left behind on hills, thing did 130 mph in 4th gear, I think it had a fault because of this and wasn't that supprised when it let go.

Citroen BX are supposed to be quick with only slight modifications.
I used to have a Moskovich, it was the 'Stalin' special edition.
In 3rd it would do 80, I don't know if that was mph or kph but we used to burn up Hearsts.
I think once patti was driving, this was before she was kidnapped and she carried more weight back then.

Hey come on, human beings do not live on paper, but if some chav-tastic spot squeezer trys to show off on a duel carriage way and has done the one of the most dangerous things possible "tail gating" and you can pull away and leave them 20 seconds behind you, your most likely to do it.
Nobody is a saint, now I a drive a 2.4 2nd gen I don't exactley burn anyone off at the lights do I?
I would never, even in stg4 coswoth try and put such an inexperienced driver at risk on an A road by burning him off with no room.
That's what rule 144 is referring to mostley.
You seem to have a strong feeling about all this, so sorry if I've offend you, I'm referring to 10+ years ago btw.
These days, I let the electric milk float burn me off, I have no choice in the matter.

Bala Mud, best underseal there is, only £30 per application.
A friend and I were going to London from Weymouth in his Mum's old Peugot heap and we were being tailgated for ages because it was double white lines and the guy was making it clear he wasn't happy. As soon as the road opened up the guy punched it and only about 20 yards ahead of us clouds of smoke poured out of his exhaust and he whimpered to the side of the road!
That was class and we didn't even have to do anything!
