    Cheers Bushwacker!

Would there be a switch or something to activate a factory fitted one or are the like the aus lockers?

Also, I can't think of another forum on the planet where you can get an answer to a question within 10 minuites Cheers again

        Limited Slip Differential.

Not a locker, if you lift a wheel to won't get power to other end of axle like a locker, but you will get some drive to both wheels when on loose surfaces.

Its inbetween a locker and an open diff....

I always thought LSD was locked till certain revs of diff then enertia disengages lock to allow for open diff action......
So slowly slowly monkey creepy till you start to move off keeping it locked then once up to speed diff is back as open diff......
But then we all know what thought did.....
Followed a muck cart thought it was a wedding....boom boom
          Remember arrows are silent.....................
Don't forget to tell everyone its indestructable as seen on top gear.......

nah, the factory Toy LSD's will never 100% lock, and TBH, a 15year old one will hardly be any better what an open diff as the clutch packs wear out.

Internet gossip reckons they are only good for 40K miles, if that, before wearing out.

I have a LSD too! when I changed the diff oil it sounded like a can of coke being opened - the breather was totally blocked and siezed
