Hi all, silly question but I was under my 1990 G plate Surf today and I spotted a sticker on the back of the diff that said LSD on it. So I am assuming that its got a slippy diff, anyone know if this is correct?

look on the chassis tag under the bonnet if its got a 5 on the axle code then yes its a limited slip diff.Last edited by surfenstein; 18 March 2010, 20:27.www.overfab.uk -
The LSD sticker stands for
Lysergic Acid Diethylamide
when adhered to the rear differential

Correct.
Look on the VIN plate on the bulkhead too, if the final drive code ends with a 5 then you have a LSD rear axle.
Different grade of oil in them by the way.Comment
