    V8 Amazon, there's nothing better!

More torque than two 3.0 2nd gen Surfs bolted together!

Would it not work out more cost effective to get a beavertail transit ? Or do you tow stuff other than cars ?

i want to get another truck but not a recovery truck as its going to cost more in the end on insurance ect plus i will want to get a newer truck anyway for towing aswell as an everyday motor

I was looking at that truck earlier Vince and it is a nice truck tho but what does one of them do to the gallon tho

If I had £10k for a landcruiser, I'd buy a cheap one and something else.

Pretty much the same as what you're getting out of your truck with the 33"s on Rich.

The V8 Amazon develops roughly 400+ ft-lbs of torque, meaning it'll tow your fully loaded trailer as if it wasn't there.

cheers Vince.I get about 20mpg towing a loaded trailer so thats not to bad then for a 4.7 v8
I got about 19.45mpg towing the trailer loaded. That was a 700m roundtrip and about 36 gallon of fuel which is better than i thought.

I was in the same predicament last April and after much research and looking around I brought an 04 Nissan Patrol....
                          Nissan Patrol for on-road, and a Land-Rover 110 shed for off-road :-)

What about the Colorado's are they a good decent L.Cruiser.
Ideally i want a 4.2 or maybe the V8 as i want enough power for the towing.I'm not sure on what the 3.0l's are like and what power they got for towing but i would assume they would be the same as the surfs really

Try that one Richard. However I feel it will most likely be a scam. The car will probably be nowhere near West Midlands. It will be in Europe somewhere. The woman selling it will be recently married to an Italian/Spaniard whatever and unable to register it in Italy/Spain wherever and selling it cheap, even offering to transport it home, no doubt after youve paid a deposit or something, whereupon her and the car vanish. Email and see what happens, If its in Dudley or somewhere and all genuine then its a result.
