Surely that's a Suzuki SJ410? What's that got to do with a Land Cruiser thread?

Try that one Richard. However I feel it will most likely be a scam.

Seems like you were correct. The ad has been pulled by Pistonheads!

            Who knows?

Probably a Newbie thing, they do seem to have their own logic.

I have been looking at the LandCruisers that Chequered Flag have on their website for some time.

I phoned them and they did not seem to want to answer my questions... I just felt a bad vibe from them. I posted a thread over on the Landcriuser site last year and the response was not very favourable. There was another thread recently warning people about this company.

It is a shame because I do have over 10K spare and I like that V8! Here are the posts:

Hi Rich Toby is spot-on milage wise when i used to go to Southamton to pick up Surf,s i was importing, i used to tow them back on a "A FRAME" i used to average at least 28mpg that was 1999 to 2002 when they started shipping to Liverpool. l have had mine 12years now and i cant justify selling it and getting a newer one when its all cleaned up and i am driving it nothing comes near the comfort and power. lf i were you i would go for a "80"series and have a couple of good holidays.

                        Regards Hilux-Bob

P.S. Wave the right amount of dosh and i might be tempted. Hint Hint

Well that mpg is sounding even better.I got about 19mpg out of the surf on Saturday towing approx 2.3t and the surf is a bit sluggish till you get to the o/d kick in then its ok.
I will have to have an auto tho aswell as i can't stand driving manuals now but if the right lc came along with manual trans then i would seriously think about it.
What year did they stop building the 80 series then as i would like to have as new as poss if i can

There are THREE of these within a half mile radius of where I live - two of them are literally 5 doors away from each other!! Two are 'M' reg and one is on a private plate, and only one of them is ever out and about. Can only ne a matter of time before they are on offer, hmmmmm....................!

                                Cheers, Nick
