    I met an old boy who used bluebells and brown paper to polish scratches out of the clear plastic that covers the guages, for the deeper scratches he used cardboard with the bluebells, it worked really well and plastic came up better than new. And yes I'm talking about bluebells as in the flower.

    Don't know if it would work on glass thou...?

      Apparantly toothpaste is good on plastics, but not ever tried it.
