It's basicaly photo real, nothing looks cartoon in it at all, and people get hurt shout get upset and swear, I'd rate it a PG/12-ish, depends on the 8 year old though some are pretty desensitized by modern media.

I have not seen it yet, but my favorite review from Radio 1, the reviewerwas watching the 3D version in a cinema and he said 'at one point he was not sure if the bloke sitting in front was part of the film or not'
It was a good film with absolutely mind blowing graphics & 3d effects!! So good i went to see it twice. Even at £11 per ticket!!!!!
I went with a mate who didn't seem too interested so he spent half the film texting on his mobile phone.
Might go again on my own next week if i have the time.
ruddy hell Karen think of the beers you could of bought with £11
Oh don't worry, I brought my own with me!! & munchies too.
FYI: I found all the big blues strangely attractive. The fella in the wheelchair was rather tasty too! Wouldn't kick him out of bed for eating biscuits.

How the hell could they sit & do that through a film like that???? Beyond belief.
More seriousley, the character they create for Zoe Saldana, is beutiful because she is, I watched a behind the scenes and every part of her emotional performace is captured and put onto this cgi model so your watching her performance again best film I've seen in 30 years.

He has terrible taste in films, he's into sh!t like Saw 1,2,3,4,5,6,7....84 (he has them all on dvd), the hills have eyes, 28 days later... horror movie rubbish like that. Sad eh?
Ah well each to their own.
Sadly enough i think i prefer going to the cinema on my own. Its less hassle.
