SCUBA Diving is beautifull , Commercial Diving sucks. I always wanted to Dive the Red Sea, but never got round to doing it.

Camera was excellent. Unfortuanately for me though the SD card I bought had compatability issues. The last dive I planned to leave the camera running to fill up the disk except it was cut short because of the above. This meant I only got 2GB of video rather than the 8GB. To get round this, I RMA'd the disk as I found it to be faulty even when formatting, and I've ordered a "proven compatable" card which is a 16GB Patriot.

Battery seems to last forever. The camera is smaller than a fag box so didnt get in the way when I wasnt using it either.

White water rafting, snowboarding and I'll even stick it to my RC car and drive off down the road to see how that looks

Nice pictures. That looks very deep. No red at all in that picture hardly!
                      I've edited one of them:

As a dedicated warm water wus, I've not dived UK waters or even done a dry suit dive. The Maldives was the nicest yet. My son did his drysuit training in the torpedo pen at Portsmouth during February - pretty bl00dy cold apparently even with the bearsuit.

I had to wear two suits in the Red Sea...
I dont think I would survive diving in britain just now! Even with the two suits on I was on the verge of beginning to shiver.
Person I work with is BSAC member and has exlpained what can happen in dry suits if the air goes to your legs..

I think I'll wait till it gets a bit warmer and go to a dive centre down by the coast somewhere. I've read there are a few wrecks down there too.

If any of you are up for a forum dive I think that would be a good laugh! I would have to rent kit from a dive centre though as I have none of my own just yet.

I use a 5mm full length for the red sea and in malta, its perfect for a 40 metre dive and keeps you warm enough for shallower dives of 60 mins plus, I usually run out of air before I get cold.
The drysuit course will teach you how to get out of the air in legs problem or you can use ankle weights. I did mine at stoney cove in febuary, air temp plus 4 water temp plus 7, visability 5 metres.

                                http://www.ukdiveguide.com/fron-quarry.html

I went here with Rhyl sub aqua club in the 80's it was febuary, there was sleet comming down and I, (9 stone wet, aged 14) wearing my fathers wetsuit (way to big to be effective)went into hypothermia after about 20 mins lol, I looked like the michelin man in that suit, I couldn't get out of my dads suit with out help then shivered all the way home to a luke warm bath with arms and legs hanging out.

I think me and diving parted company here, but I might take it up again if I manage to pack in smoking.

                                peace
