Have not been on the site lately. Lots of new people,not many of the old crew around it seems !

Not quite. the " glee club" who decamped to Matts have mostly been long term members over there, but did the bulk of their posting here as this was the more active forum. I think all that happens now is that they do most of their posting over there and just pop in here for an occassional looksee as of course this remains the more active forum.

Another viewpoint is that the stupid bickering and point scoring that was going on here created problems for Koi who then had to introduce a more draconian regime to keep the forum under control.

This effectively eliminated all of the banter and as a result some of the members now spend a lot of their time in another place. If somebody over there comes over a bit precious they can get ripped without fear of interference by the admin - mainly cos it's usually him being ripped !

Most of the members over there still drop in here to respond to posts where they can but the banter's left behind (And in my opinion this site is poorer for it)

On another note I now have my braided brake hoses (At last) and when I can take the Surf off the road long enough to get them fitted I may actually bother to write a few words on the subject !
