I'm getting some posters made up. Theyre 30ft wide and say I "BELIEVE"
If anyone wants one let me know. They would be perfect taped or nailed to your roof tiles. If you live in a flat you actually have an advantage because flat roofs face straight up.
Fireworks and things can be bought nearer the time, so don't bother wasting money right now.

it doesnt get close until 2032 so plenty of time to make that arc

                Hi all,
Is this the same one that they discovered some time ago and shrugged it off?
Thing is, they are always finding these. What about all of those they don't find that "near miss" us? It would be nice to know if there was something going to hit us. Even if we had only a few hours before the slam.

i dont know about shrugging it off the russians are taking it seriously and talking about blowing it up.

The problem is that they are difficult to find because they are cold and dark - NASA has its latest asteroid hunter the Wide-field Infrared Survey Explorer "WISE" which was launched in december.

I would like to see them hurry up and start producing some serious results from the multi million $$ satelite they have created solely for spotting earth-like planets

i would like to see an asteroid killer put up

apophis probably wont hit the earth but it will pass by at a lower altitude than our satellites - and that is way to close for me

and its due to come back a few years later - nobody is predicting that orbit because they dont know how the gravitational pull from the earth will effect the first fly by.

                          Regards,

                          alex

I've seen the opening credits for 3rd Rock from the Sun, so I know nothing bad is going to happen if it does hit.

All the planets just bounce off each other in a bouncy ball kinda way, "no damage"
If its not broke don't fix it.
