    George, I have the most beautiful curry recipe, given to me by a real 'bacon sarny' I love making it. Now I know how, I mix it about a bit.I'll find it and post it up for you.

      I love my Currys to George, but I tend to like them red HOT, usually a Phal, Me and my mate go to a local emporiom in Kings Lynn there we sit red faced sweating drunk OMG what a site we must be.....Yours sound nice also, its nice to invent your own also.

            currys are easy to make webbo
            the emporiom is that the big curry house in the center?
            its years since i had a curry there if its the same place
            i worked at hunstanton for a few months years ago
            nothing there so we hit kingslynn most nights
            i did drink alcohol back then tho

                        Gurnam’s north Indian Chicken curry
                        6-8 people
                        Large chicken, cut and filleted, or thighs and legs.
                        2 large onions or 3 or 4 small chopped roughly
                        Whole clove of garlic, chopped
                        Large piece of ginger chopped (or grated)
                        3 green chillies (thin) chopped and seeded.
                        2 teaspoons salt
                        Half tin of chopped tomatoes
                        1 and a half teaspoons garam masala
                        1 and a half teaspoons paprika
                        1 teaspoon tumeric
                        Olive oil
                        Coriander.

                        *Method*

                        Fry onions in oil until soft (don’t burn them) then add the ginger and garlic, stir for a few mins.
                        Add the chicken and seal all over, add the salt to bring the juices out and braise for 10 minutes in a cooking pot with a lid.
                        Add garam masala, paprika and tumeric, stir well, then add the chopped tomatoes.
                        Add the chillies and a cupful of water, let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
                        Add the coriander towards the end of cooking.
                        *Rice*
                        Basmati rice.
                        Cumin seed
                        Cardomon pods
                        Cinnamon stick
                        Cloves
                        Extra olive oil
                        2 chicken stock cubes

                        *Method*

                        Lightly fry the spices in the oil for a few minutes, add the rice to the same pan, stir well, then add boiling water, it should cover the rice about an inch above.
                        Finally add chicken stock cubes.

                        Enjoy....

                        The rice is the hardest thing to do, (to get right)

                              Go with that recipe, it's 'kin lovely. once you have made it once, you can start to adapt it to your particular taste.
