Are you assuming that as you have no amber light on the dash ,you have no glow plugs?? or have you checked that they are physically not working!!
(did you just go to the truck and it wouldn't start??)

What a kind offer, I need to get on it in the morning and try some suggestions mentioned by others first though before bothering anyone like your good self into coming over here, I really don't want to hassle anyone untill it looks like my surf is going to be nothing more than a giant paper wieght .Neal
