  • Roughtrax doing their best!

Just spotted this on Roughtrax - http://www.roughtrax4x4.com/?doc=16&cid=614&vid=555

I know it's exchange, but given all what is involved in the £599.99 price +vat I think thats a ###### good deal!

Does anyone have any experience with these heads?

Well mine passed one of those the other day.

Just not sure wtf is going on with it at the mo. Not even sure if it over heated the other day as the sensor is fooked (but is now working again......)

Hubby has given up an won't look at anything on it now.

Yup, toastie - flushed the system out 'again' on sat. Losing no water an runs like a dream. Mind you given past history over the last 3 months - I have about 3 weeks to go before it spews out the water again.

Ay but mine did it without the stat in......mine has had the engine out before judging by all the lables on the wires etc. on 237k km but love the truck.

I cannot justify spending all that money when it ay confirmed.

                      No oil in water
                      No water in oil
                      No gases in water
                      No loss of water
                      No overheating (?)
                      Water being pumped round system

Just seems to over pressurise every few weeks...

You tell me - just going to see what happens.

id say either head or water pump bearing is going,it would still push water but may partially seize

Have been told that there could be no intermitant faults with the water pump. Tis either fooked or not. Not that old either the waterpump.
Would be noisy or leaking an tis neither.
