Hey Richard, really sorry to hear you got probs, legal way is the best way, set up a video camera for evidence, also get your nieghbours to do the same,
Call the police every time there is a problem, insist they come out. If he blocks your drive and it is not a private road call the police, and insist they deal with it. It may not seem like it but the law is on your side, just make sure you call police and report every incident. Good luck mate.

Neighbourly disputes are never good. I had a dispute with my neighbour when I wanted to build a wall, in the end I called in the surveyors who re-marked all the boundarys etc. The neighbour still disputes the wall position. it's doubly difficult because I am the 'foreigner' in this case.
The only time these disputes get resolved is when one or the other party moves on.
Let's hope the fall in the value of the pound encourages your neighbours to move.

On top of this my 18 yr old has come home and he was beaten up by 4 Polish people that were causing trouble in the night club.He's got a couple of bruises but thats about it.I got a mate who had his surf windows smashed by Polish people about 3 weeks ago so i had to supply and fit a window for him before he could go on holiday.Just what is with people.

The Polish guy i got trouble with has p155ed the police right off buy dialling 999 all the time just to get them out because someone has walked down his drive to go to next door who have full legal access rights to do so.
Every Friday night we can gaurentee that it will kick off when this guy comes home cause the rest of his family stir the 5hit everytime.
We got the police backing us but because its all on private property they cannot do anything.
This guy thinks he has the right to push and shove women and children about and get away with it.

All the residents i have spoken to here are willing to put a complaint in also to the General Medical Council about him aswell which i don't think will go down to well as the GMC and I.O.P have suspended him already for 18 months for gross misconduct.I found this out by typing his name into google and got direct onto the GMC site where i found out this information.

We all have got so much evidence against him now for the solicitors to take and hopefully build a Civil Case against him.

I never started this thread to end up in a slanging match but just to get some of the anger out of myself so please stop the bickering.Thanks

I haven't lived in the UK for around 11-12 years.

You vent your anger as much as you like mate, in all walks of life there are good people and bad people, regardless of nationality, here in Greece we have some really good nieghbours and a couple of idiots, the locals keep the idiots in check. i wish you luck mate.

Not too sure on English law, but up here if a car is blocking a driveway or access it is perfectly legal to drag and I mean drag the vehicle onto a towtruck!!I would not have believed it myself until I saw it and there was a plod on the scene!!God help them if I see them trying that on mine!!!!!good luck mate hope they get deported!

When i ws talking to the police at 10.30 last night they were saying its a very thin line dividing whats legal and whats not legal on towing someones car out the way especially if its on their own land and i got full access rights.I need to find out the law on this before i do any towing of vehicles.

I can see where your coming from but this area was a bloomin nice quiet area till the Polish moved in so i am right in stating Foreigners.
Like you say and i stated in the first post this isn't a racial thing but theres good and bad in everyone and unfortunately its the foreign thats the bad here at the moment

if you have the right of access as you do i take it their bodywork is over hanging your access and their wheels are on their property it is still on your property and you have the right to remove it from your access if you had a fence there they would not be able to do it (i am not saying build one) so being able to overhang does not change your rights does it? if you parked across my drive in london and i had access rights even if you are on a public road i can remove your vehicle the police cannot give you a straight answer as their not allowed to they can only generalize in case they get drawn into a legal battle

Right the developer sold the drive way which was no mans land to the Polish people for 2k when they bought their house.
Before all this took place i rang up the developer and asked if the drive way can be split 3 ways.He then said no i will still have my full access rights and the ownership of the drive will be split between the 2 other houses.Well guess what it was sold to just 1 household instead of the 2 and this is where the trouble has started.
The Polish people cant see even by showing them the deeds of all 3 houses including his what my access rights are and they are right up to his front door.The thing is now his parking is meant to be behind my garage so there is sufficent room for me to get into and out of my property.He now parks his cars infront of his house obstructing mine and the neighbours access.
It states in his deeds he is not allowed to do,say anything which is going to cause a nuisance to either of the 2 properties using the driveway.Hes not allowed to put a wall up.build a fence or put a gate up at the end of the drive way either.he is planning on doing these.
My house dates back to the mid 1800's and was part of the original factory that was on the land before these houses were built 4 years ago.My access rights go right back to when this factory was there originally but Mr and Mrs polish folk wont get it into their heads that my access rights out do all of their ownership rights and this is why i have had nearly 4 yrs of hell from them.His Family was still in Poland up till they moved into this house and he was working over here as a doctor( suspended doctor now) to pay to get them over here.
This is the sort of person we are having to deal with.A doctor who is supposed to be a pillar of the community who all he can do is to push and shove women and kids about and this is what his patients don't see.What would they think if this is the type of doctor treating them.I know i would never let him treat my kids if i knew what he was like

Of course you wouldn't think of joining up with the other neighbours for a party where all friends are invited, all those extra cars would have to go somewhere
