Rich legal route definitely right to go down but in the interim if you can sort out taking a bottle of Vodka round it could be the best way. If the rest of the family are likely to inflame the situation then either get the guy round yours or pick a time when they're not there. Do some reading on Poland beforehand? I know it sounds ####ty and might wound your pride but if its in the cause of making yours and everyone elses lives easier it could be the best way.

Failing that, make an effort to learn as much about him as possible by observation and any other method available, you may learn something which could swing things your way.

If and when the legal side of things starts moving, give the local press the heads up- call the news desk number listed in the local papaer. Cant hurt.
