i've had a set of cheap motorola pmrs, a set of cheapies from the states, and now got a set of more expensive unidens, there really is no comparison, the uniden's have better range, better clarity, better reliability, they really are in a different league, ok, they were £90 for a set of 4 compared to £40, so they should be. With the imported one's you struggle to hear between vehicles in convoy sometimes, where as in good weather we've had the unidens crystal clear over 12 miles on the a14 when a convoy got separated.
