I would steer clear mate, no CTCSS (38 tone coded channels) so limited privacy cheap looking and not 100% sure they are even pmr 446 (UK legal) ..plenty of genuine units on fleebay in the walkie talkie section..ignore the claims of blah blah miles..they are all much of a muchness unless you want to spend big bucks on commercialy mil spec stuff.. I have a couple of cobra MT525's and they are ace in the truck...you can also modify quite a few of the cheaper radios (not legal to do so..but good fun!!! and adding a body mount antenna does give a greater distance )..a good site if you want a bit of info on PMR 446 radios. http://www.delboys446.co.uk/ ..enjoy!
