Why would anyone want to go to motor factors, I mean you can get all you want off the internet can't you. Well apart from the stuff you get from motor factors, or the bits you pick up at screwfix, or halfords, or motorworld.
I hope you get my point. You get what you want from where you want, for what is most appropiate. My motor factors informs me every service that the Milners service kit will wreck my engine, I've lost count of the number of services I've done in the last five years and the engine is still going strong. But they can be helpfull on other issues. I had absolutely brilliant service the other week from brakes international over the phone when I was rebuilding my calipers.
It's all horses for courses, but to be honest if Tony gave me advice I'd follow it, because it's thanks to him and the rest of the good fellows here (mostly Tony) that have enabled me to keep running the surf.
