What you gonna do with those electrics, bury em in the paint? cant wait to see the end result George, if it looks owt like the model i'm doing it'll look ok, i just painted latex on then sprinkled dried building sand on then paint for the carpet effect, looks ok

Have a look at old casting sand its usualy a very dark brown/black. If you,ve got any foundries near you go and have a look .
If you fancy a drive theres a cove on the Isle of White( I,m buggered if I can remember its name) where there is all colours of sand, you might be able to get some black there.

well i got mi black sand opened it its a mix of grey and black
but in a way iam glad it looks all right atm but its 2 inch in sand
mixed the sand with the paint too then put sand on top too
this is only in the foot wells every were else on the floor will be black
i will have some dinner and get back too it
