Drive to the car your driving.

Exactly. No matter how many times this subject comes up though, they ne'er listen. They think the vehicle is the safety factor. The muppets should have their licenses revoked.

Any deer running out on me will be in the freezer inside 1/2 hour. Why swerve?

ARB's stand for lack of flex offroad, bin them and get stiffer longer shocks.

I don't mind folk changing pads, it's when they start stripping down braking systems and then posting 'How do I put it back together?' type questions that annoys me. Even changing pads has its dangers; how many amateurs will have run out into the road, or into a wall, or into someone because they didn't know to 'settle' (or whatever their particular colloquialism is) the pads after fitting them?

Even the ARB argument that's going on here, most folk don't seem to understand why it's there in the first place never mind understand what it's doing.

I work for Royal Mail, the rural drivers often come back with a brace of Pheasants, they must be the dumbest birds ever, they just look at the van as its coming towards them, you would have though natural selection would have done its work and made the survivors more car-savvy, but no, so much for Darwin..

As for animals, I wont swerve for any of em, I do brake tho, but the deer I killed just leapt out before I could do anything, if it had been a second later it would have run into the passenger door or the wing, hope someone made use of it!

                            • I wrote a reply 8 pages back, but deleted as I couldn't be arsed with the whole arb debate again. Where has the "plane on a belt" nights went, this whole forum has became a tad anal of late.

They're not wild though - they don't even breed outside captivity. They're introduced as chicks, fed for a year, then shot. So smart or not, they're not going to last out the year. Unlike hedgehogs, which apparently now more often run away from danger instead of curling up.
