Perhaps it might be better to tell the insurance that you have had an uprated/raised/heavy duty suspension system fitted..... rather than I took the anti roll bar off because they said it would be OK on this here forum
On a side note it does seem to be a shame that you go to the trouble of raising the vehicle but then can’t take full advantage of the load carrying capacity by fitting an expedition roof rackMine WAS a 150 bhp V6 and ran on PETROL

Oh dear, the whole point of me buyin this Surf was to go to Europe in next July...
I was gonna go the whole hog (you know) fit a full length roof cage and fit jerry cans, campin gear, canoes, the lot ???
So that means, if i wanna fit LOADS to the Roof, i have gotta get sum brackets made up to keep the ARB on if i fit the 2/3" lift...

I would merely refer you to Enzo's site and suggest that you speak to our authority on driving long distances with stuff attached to a surf.

and.....unless you need the articulation, yes it would be better to leave the ARBs on. Vince can probably knock you up the brackets for not too much.
Now, please, don't ask why.
