or do i
B - Send the rear 2 back and go buy 3" Ranchos or OME's or sumthin to match up with the springs better

Mark, i had no idea where they came from. But ( check with Paul or Graham ) i think the problem was just that the 'inner' part wouldnt go inside the coil of the spring by a good 6mm or so ( if that makes sense )Originally posted by surfenstein View Postwell that will be the ones then,so i cant see why they dont fit,coz they fitted on stein and they were all made to the same tolerences.bio if you read this let me know why they didnt fit please.
I'm sure Gra will explain it better later.

Graham just phoned cos he's reading the posts on his phone but can't reply!Originally posted by surfenstein View Postwell that will be the ones then,so i cant see why they dont fit,coz they fitted on stein and they were all made to the same tolerences.bio if you read this let me know why they didnt fit please.
The springs we fitted to Paul's surf were not L/C HDJ80s. They were the standard springs given to him when The Lovely Boyo put bigger ones on his cruiser. It seems the circumference of the two is different!
Mystery solved Mark.
Cheers Gra
