If the l/cruiser springs you got are the hd j80's then the +2" shocks will be to short. You ideally need the +3's min for these springs

I don't know what size the ljd80's are but the hd j80's are a +3" lift on them so you may be ok with the ljd80's with the +2" shocks

It will pay to see if they will exchange the shocks for the +3's.They may charge a bit more but it will be worth it in the end.

i got 5" lift on my truck and i never changed the torsion bars. They can be a sod to fit tho.I bought a 2" suspension lift for my old 2.4 and i won't fit the torsion bars again unless its absolutely neccessary.
If someone can get you the serial number or whatever number is on the shocks then you should be able to get the +3's easy enough

Ive got +4" pro comps on mine mate, They do them!

Also DONT get uprated torsion bars. There hard as feck! Not needed if your just lifting. If your lifting and putting a winch and winch bumper on then its reccommended.

Replace the diesel lump with an all aluminum engine, makes the stock torsion bars much stiffer.

I feel a little dispondant now after reading all this, seems i've fitted l/c springs that may or may not pop out the top mounts, may or may not pass the mot, springs look bent and the shocks may be no good now, mainly why i asked the double checking question, as i understood it if i refitted the old shocks they may bottom out off road, well as i aint planning on going off road yet i thought they'd do till i could afford new ones for the rear, in the pic the bottoms aint connected up yet, was going to finish it off today, but now not sure what the f##k to do, finish off or refit the old springs, as it was there was enough room for the 33's on the back, bl00dy front end went like a dream but the back giveing me an headache,
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

Just an observation ( hope it doesn't sound critical)

Chill Ian, you've done nothing wrong. The springs won't pop out, they sometimes don't sit properly in the cups but that only happens when off-roading when the axle articulates.
The stock shocks can be used, but will be fully extended all the time as the L/C springs will be forcing them apart. You will only notice this when driving over speedbumps etc. Just chuck a couple of bags of cement in the cargo area until you get new shocks.
