This is my set up, the spoiler is a roughtrax one.
Just trial fitted mine (Same spoiler) and my roofrails are in the way!!!
I fitted my rails as far back as possible so any loads would be over the L/C springs. A little fettling is gonna be requiered methinks.

I used a small drill bit to start with, i cant remember which size, was something like 3mm then used a 6.5 to drill the hole bigger... id masked over where i was going to drill so to help prevent the bit moving. to locate the hole i pressed from the inside out with one of those screwdrivers with a point ( lol i cant remember what there called) just to make a slight dent i could see from the outside. Then when it came to the large one i used the same smaller drills, but then used a 30mm cutter to get the cable through
- touched up the paintwork with a bit of touchup and then squeezed a bit of sillocone round when i located the spoiler for the last time.
(i did a couple of test fits to malke sure i was going in the right direction as i was drilling)Last edited by bandit77; 26 September 2008, 17:47.
