I can see my search criteria needs tweaking as I'm missing some sales.

I notice those Fords fetch a little more, but for my jobs something less would do.

They look a bit to good to stand about for months on end doing nothing, or is it worth spending more for quality?

          I was originally thinking,
          Cost-wise a Zetor or something
          Cheap and cheerfull
But would that be a false economy

I've got an old Allen Sythe might take you a few hours right enough I used to cut 4 acres with it.

            Cheers JB

18' flat bed, (with ramps) was no hassle.

52' Fergie TE20, with loader, finger mower, PTO circular saw, 3 gang mowers, and spares (£700 of ebay last year) fitted fine

The tractor is fantastic, we brought a spreader, roller and topper for it to do the fields, and recently a tipping trailer to dump horse poo...

its perfect of our horse fields and stable, plus you can go on historic tractor runs and meets.

Best yard thing we ever bought.

In point of fact this morning I 'won' a dexter @ 700 quid, so my next thread will be
                Needed, a topper.

I've hired a trailer locally to drag the tractor back on Saturday from Sussex.
On the histiric tractor thing, I reckon I'll pass, as I went to a county show on Saturday last and watched them chugging around.

There's a fair bit of misplaced pride in some of their. Tractors appearence, we just need it to harrow and top for now,
The neons and ICE can wait till later
                Lol

No everyone its just a topper or flail I need, so who's got One in the back garden?

Just been bidding on an 'unnamed' machine without success,

guess a budget of 3-4 hundred for something shiny does that sound about right?

Blimey, reckon that's a bit big on this tractor.

                                Was thinking more 4-5' TBH

What do you suggest on width for quite modest tractor?
